Why I Love Treating Tennis Elbow... In San Francisco Bay Area tennis circles many know me as the "Tennis Elbow Specialist". First, allow me to state that I'm a hopeless tennis fanatic -- I love playing it, watching it (my daughter plays a lot too), shopping for it and especially talking about it! To no surprise, most of my social life is somehow connected to tennis. Through this part of my practice, I'm able to give back to the game of tennis. For 19 years I have been a sports chiropractor, specializing in the fast and natural healing of tennis injuries. The most common tennis injury I see is Tennis Elbow. Fortunately, I've found a way to cure it in over 98% of my patients. My favorite job perk from treating tennis elbow (similar to other injuries I see) is the instant gratification from patients who immediately start feeling better right after a treatment. If you didn't know, tennis players can get extremely depressed at the just the thought of being injured! Another perk is that I'm constantly meeting new tennis players at work, which allows me to talk about tennis all day long. Even better, you'll often find me working right on the tennis courts at tournaments and at tennis academies. Many tennis instructors come to me for treatments and I have happily traded treatments for free tennis lessons. Tennis racket manufacturers have sent me free products so I could suggest their brands to my patients. Also, I often receive free tickets to tennis events. I never thought that becoming a chiropractor would lead to all of this. However, I was able to turn my job into something that I truly love to do. My advice to anyone who doesn't love their job would be to take their existing occupation and find a way to tweak it into something they absolutely do love. For me, it's like going on a mini tennis vacation. Well, almost! For more information, visit http://www.sfbaychiropractic.com/tennis-elbow.html
